The key differences
Whole milk content: Nara has the highest organic milk fat content of any U.S. infant formula. Bobbie offers two whole milk formulas; one blends whole and skim milk, and the other uses whole milk only. Both have a lower milk fat percentage than Nara.
Prebiotics: Nara contains organic GOS (galacto-oligosaccharides), which helps support gut health and softer stools. Nara's organic GOS includes three human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs), similar to those found in breastmilk. Bobbie does not include prebiotics in any of its formulas.
Where it's made: Nara is manufactured in Germany, in a facility subject to EU food safety standards — some of the strictest in the world for infant formula. Bobbie is made in the U.S. in its Ohio facility, which offers domestic supply chain reliability. Some of Bobbie's formulations are also made by Perrigo.
Clinical research: Nara completed a double-blind clinical trial on its whole milk formula before launching, the first USDA organic whole milk formula to do so. The trial, spanning 12+ months, showed Nara supports infant growth and is well tolerated. Bobbie has not publicly shared any clinical trial data on its whole milk formula.
